Interim Executives Academy Seminar - Navigating Community Relations as an Interim Executive

Join us on June 26 for a virtual "think tank" discussion for our Interim Executive Academy Seminar - Navigating Community Reputation as an Interim Executive: The Interim Chief Executive Role in the Community Building. As interims, we’re often keenly focused on providing operational excellence, stabilizing staff, and helping the board build a picture of success and plan for the future. But what is our role in the community that the organization serves? How do we discover the external situations that must be addressed? How can we balance the pressing needs of staff and board with the external complexities of protecting reputation, maintaining engagement with funders and partners, and quieting any public dissatisfaction with the organization?
Seminars contain a mix of content, discussion, and cameo appearances by guests who have first-hand experience with our topic. In this meeting, we'll talk with Remound Wright (IEA Class #12) and Beth Morrison (IEA Class #6) about stepping into an interim role with an organization suffering significant deterioration in community relations.
Learning Objectives:
- Explore the role of interim chief executives in maintaining and enhancing community reputation.
- Identify best practices for community engagement and relationship building.
- Develop skills to manage public perception and communication during crises.
NOTE: Individuals who have completed the Interim Executives Academy can utilize the code "IEA_ALUMNI" to receive a $30 discount for this study group/workshop.
