Interim Executives Academy - Class #22
The Interim Executives Academy provides rigorous training and mentoring for interim leaders serving nonprofit organizations in short-term, senior-level engagements. Our focus is on helping organizations and their people intentionally, methodically, and transformationally cover the space between where they have been and where they hope to go. Six weekly online sessions provide ~20 hours of learning that explores Third Sector Company’s strategic approach to transformational interim leadership. Academy participants also receive a comprehensive package of professional support services.

The Interim Executives Academy represents two decades of Third Sector Company’s experiences in developing, testing, and refining interim management tools, service protocols, leadership models, and training curricula to support interim leaders of nonprofit organizations, associations, and congregations. Over a six-week period, the Interim Executives Academy offers a deep-dive experience that includes lectures, cameo presenters, and roundtable discussions. At the conclusion of the Academy, participants will be awarded a certificate of completion and badge.
The Academy experience includes the following comprehensive package of support services:
- Interim Executives Study Groups provide a gathering place for deep-dives into specific topics around interim leadership, practical applications, and shared learning around building successful interim practices.
- Interim Executives Academy LinkedIn Group is an invitation-only social media forum for Academy registrants and alumni to post questions, participate in discussions and access Academy materials.
The course workbook, The Nonprofit Interim Chief Executive is available from Lulu Publishing, and should be purchased prior to the start of class to ensure that participants are prepared for the first session. We look forward to have you as part of our shared learning experience!
