Interim Executives Research to Practice Forum: Assessing Diversity, Equity & Belongingness
How does an interim executive director begin to assess the current culture of ideas and practices associated with Diversity, Equity, and Belongingness in an organization? It is generally considered good practice in transitional management methods to conduct a reasonably thorough assessment of the operations of the organization prior to recommending specific strategies. In today’s environment, it is critical that interim leaders are able to identify the cultural realities of the organization in addition to its current service and financial performances.
Third Sector Company and its Interim Executives Academy offers this Research to Practice Forum to examine how DEIA (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Access) variables are being measured. Current data about human belongingness in the workplace will be presented along with testimonials from interim executives about how they have cultivated a “belonging environment” during their engagements. Participants will receive a link to a sample assessment targeted at measuring Belongingness for discussion during the session.
Third Sector Company and the Interim Executive Academy facilitate these monthly gatherings to discuss interim leadership issues in the context of relevant research from the nonprofit sector. Each session is framed by a particular research study, and participants receive a link to that study when they register. Graduates of the Interim Executives Academy may register at a reduced price.
